Wantima Country Club

The Wantima Country Club, which started off humbly in 1969 with a 6 hole course and a farm doubling as a clubhouse, now offers magnificent sporting facilities with an 18 hole course, tennis courts, as well as a modern clubhouse with a restaurant, game rooms, and functional spaces. The site also boasts a well-stocked pro shop as well as a golf academy. The golf course (par 70) lies carefully integrated in its natural surroundings, with a total length of 5,685 meters. The course, which is always in excellent condition, offers interesting playing varieties with slightly wavy, otherwise flat fairways, with water hazards, bunkers, and numerous doglegs. It is challenging, but at the same time suitable for occasional players as well. The layout is fast with very constant greens. At the Wantima Country Club, you will also find a spacious practice area with a driving and putting green, as well as a sizable fleet of electrocarts. Wantima is located in Brendale (Queensland), only 30 minutes north of Brisbane behind the Albany Links golf course. The country club is easy to reach by car.
