Warner Springs Ranch Golf Club

The Warner Springs Ranch Golf Club is located in the small town of Warner Springs, in northern San Diego County, California. It is situated at an altitude of 915 meters on the Warner Springs Ranch Resort estate, a former ranch founded in the 19th century. The golf club traverses an area of 1,011 hectares along the foothills of the San Diego Cuyamaca Mountains and offers wonderful views of Palomar Mountain, the nearby Lake Henshaw, and the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. From San Diego, the Warner Springs Ranch Golf Club can be reached in 80 minutes via CA 79 N. The golf club opened its 18-hole championship course with par 72 in 1965, designed by renowned golf course architect David A. Rainville. In 1984, the course was modified by his son, Harry Rainville, and renovated by David Bickly in 2014. The course is 6,915-meters long and has long, wide fairways, flanked by 60-year old oak trees, among others. Dog legs, bunkers, and water hazards, as well as the new lake at hole 3 create increased technical and tactical difficulty on this athletic course. This is highlighted by the four different tee boxes available at individual tees.
