Wekiva Golf Club

The Wekiva Golf Club is located near the town of Wekiva Springs, Seminole County, Florida. It is situated near the Wekiva River in a forested, hilly area, harmonious embedded in a residential area. From Wekiva Springs, the Wekiva Golf Club can be reached in 8 minutes; from Longwood in 17 minutes via FL 434 W; and from Orlando in 20 minutes via I 4 E. The club opened its 18-hole Wekiva Course with par 72 in 18972, designed by the golf course architect Ward Northrup. He created a 6,850-meter long course that traverses slightly hilly terrain. Wavy fairways and fast, wavy greens, flanked by tall oak trees, pine trees, and palm trees, characterize the image of the course at the Wekiva Golf Club. There are many dog legs, 80 difficult bunkers, and water hazards at three holes. The signature hole, however, is hole 17 at which golfers must play over water. The championship course is athletically and technically challenging to golfers of all experience levels. Additionally, none of the fairways run parallel to each other. Golfers can use the on-site driving range with its 22 tees, as well as the putting green in the training area at the Wekiva Golf Club.
