Zala Springs Golf Resort

Zala Springs Golf Resort is located in the Hungarian Zala valley, near river Zala and Lake Balaton. The 18-hole championship course was designed by the renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. and was opened in 2015. Embedded in a picturesque hilly landscape and surrounded by vineyards, Zala Springs Golf Resort spreads a Tuscan flair. The course has four different tees to play, on a total length of 6,351 meters. It was built according to the American standards of the USGA and is therefore suitable to host international tournaments. Due to its concept, beginners and advanced players can equally enjoy the course. Diverse lakes and bunkers interfere in the slightly undulated greens. You can also use diverse training facilities like the driving range with 12 covered and 40 open air tees, an 18-hole putting green, practice bunkers and pitching areas. Qualified PGA teachers give lessons in different languages, among them German and English. The elegant club house offers anything you desire on three floors: it has a pro shop, a bistro and a restaurant and even a cigar room. Guests are always welcome, but a reservation is required. Zala Springs Resort is around two hours southwest of Budapest. You can also reach the resort from Vienna via the A3 in a little more than two hours.
