Clwb Golff Pwllheli

The Clwb Golff Pwllheli is located between Pwllhelli and Penrhos along a southern-facing coastal area of Cardigan Bay. From Liverpool, this attractive landscape in northern Wales can be reached by car in around two hours. The traditional golf course was designed by Tom Morris in 1900 as a 9-hole course was expanded in 1909 by the legendary golfer and golf architect James Braid to include at a total of 18 holes (par 69). With its combination of traditional links course and vegetation-rich parkland course, the Clwb Golff Pwllheli is certainly unique. Golfers of all experience levels will enjoy the various intermediate levels between raw, coastal golfing with its wind and the challenges posed by trees and other hazards. The fairways are relatively narrow and do contain some dog legs. Due to the region’s high number of sunny days, the Clwb Golff Pwllheli is a favorite excursion destination for guests from both far and near. Along the entire course length, golfers can enjoy the majestic views of the Llyn peninsula with the panorama of the Snowdonia mountains and the crashing breakers of the Irish Sea.
