Coomealla Golf Club

In the far west of New South Wales lies the tranquil town of Dareton. The 516-inhabitant village offers a beautiful golf course which belongs to the Coomealla Golf Club. The next largest city is Mildura, which is 20 kilometers away and is already part of the state of Victoria. The 18-hole championship course directly borders on the Murray river, which winds through the picturesque landscape. The golf course is excellently maintained and the atmosphere at Coomealla Golf Club is friendly and familial. Guests are welcome all year. The greens are covered with Santa Ana couch grass and the fairways are lined by trees. The club’s offerings include a generous driving range with practice greens, a club house with air conditioning, and a bistro and bar. Those interested have the option of renting golf equipment or purchasing paraphernalia at the pro shop. Clubs, carts, and buggies are available. The course (par 72) is 6,250 meters long and runs across gently wavy terrain. It is interesting for all handicaps.
