Lake Limerick Country Club

The city of Shelton is home to the Lake Limerick Country Club, located in Mason County in the US state of Washington. It stretches over a 20-hectares-large, gently undulating site at the shores of Lake Limerick, just by a residential complex on the peninsula of Olympia. From Shelton’s inner city, one can get to the Lake Limerick Country Club in twelve minutes via the WA-3 N and E Mason Lake Rd. Coming from Olympia, the capital city of Washington, one should take the US-101 N and it would take at least 30 minutes. In 1967, it opened a 9-hole parkland type course with par 36, measuring 2,649 meters in length. This short course is characterized by narrow tree-lined fairways, medium-size refined greens, sand bunkers and water hazards at holes 6 and 7. Hole 8 is the signature hole due to its wonderful view of Lake Limerick. On the fairways, golfers will find two different tee boxes, so that they can use the challenging course at Lake Limerick Country Club as well as the 18-hole course. The club itself does not have a driving range for golfers to train their long hits, but there is a putting green for improving one’s short game. Trolleys and gas-powered carts are available for rent. The club’s Pro Shop offers golf clothing, equipment and other items for an optimal round of golf.
