Menifee Lakes Country Club

The Menifee Lakes Country Club is located in the city of Menifee in western Riverside County, California. It situated in the middle of a landscape characterized by lakes, hot springs, and palm trees. Only eight minutes from downtown, the Menifee Lakes Country Club can be reached from Palm Springs via I 10 W and CA 79 S in around an hour. The club has 36 holes, divided into two 18-hole championship courses, designed by the well-known golf course architect Ted Robinson Sr. The Lakes Course with par 72 was opened in 1989 and is 5,969 meters long. Its mostly straight fairways with large, wavy greens snake through thick forests. There are only a few dog legs, but water hazards in the form of lakes, ponds, and streams at 11 holes. The course also boasts numerous water hazards that must be played across, such is the case at holes 8, 10, 11, 13, and 14. The Palms Course with par 72 at the Menifee Lakes Country Club was opened in 1994, is 5,960 meters long, and somewhat more difficult than the Lakes Course. Water hazards can be found here at 12 holes; fairways are wide with fast, wavy greens. Both courses include more than 90,000 square meters of water and over 100 bunkers.
