Mijas Golf - Los Olivos

This golf course north of Fuengirola counts among the most popular courses on the Costa del Sol. Players of all handicap levels can get their money’s worth on two extraordinary 18 hole courses. Both courses were designed by the renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. and carefully modernized in 2012. At 6.536 meters, the Los Lagos Course is not just longer than the 5,800-meter-long Los Olivos Course, but also somewhat more difficult. Both are relatively flat and are characterized by numerous water hazards. From almost every fairway there are fantastic views of the Mediterranean Sea or the mountains. The atmosphere at Mijas Golf is friendly and open. Guests are always welcome. Both courses require a handicap of 28 for men and 36 for women is required. The large driving range on the club’s excellently cared for facilities leaves nothing to be desired. With 46 tees, there is enough space to warm up or practice with a golf coach. Equipment can be rented on site from the very well assorted Pro Shop. On top of that, Mijas Golf is located perfectly. The course is just twenty minutes by car from Málaga airport and from Marbella. It takes just a few minutes to reach the wonderful beaches of the Costa del Sol. Whether winter or summer, this course is always a delight.
