Mountain Ranch Golf Club

The Mountain Ranch Golf Club is located in the city of Fairfield Bay in Cleburn and Van Buren Counties, in the north of the Arkansas. It is situated in the Ozarks – a highland region between the Appalachians and the Rocky Mountains – on the west coast of the Greer Ferry Lake with a view of the Little Red River. From Little Rock, the capital of Arkansas, the Mountain Ranch Golf Club can be reached via I-40 W in around 90 minutes. In 1984, the club opened the 18-hole Mountain Ranch Course with par 72. The renowned golf course architect Edmund Ault was responsible for its design. He created a hilly 6,199-meter long course with long, narrow fairways, flanked by trees, as well as dog legs, bunkers, and some water hazards. The course is both for beginners and experienced golfers easy to master. Interesting is hole 14 which includes a 24-meter tee to the fairway, as well as hole 15 which includes a 361-meter elevation. The Mountain Ranch Golf Club also has a championship course that has been nominated the number one resort golf course in Arkansas. Golflink ranks it number 4 in the US and Golf Magazine ranks it number 2 among public golf courses in Arkansas.
