Oak Hill Golfplatz

The Oak Hill Golf course is located in the city of Meredith, which lies in Belknap County in the US state of New Hampshire. It lies in the idyllic lake region of New Hampshire, surrounded by old oak and pine trees. From Meredith’s city center, the Oak Hill Golf course can quickly be reached in eight minutes via the US-3 S and the NH-106 S, while the trip from New Hampshire’s largest city, Manchester, takes nearly an hour. The Oak Hill Golf Course was opened in 1963 as a 9-hole course with par 34 and designed by the golf course architect Harry Page. The course measures 2,146 meters and features mostly straight, narrow fairways that are frequently lined by trees. There are four cleverly hidden greens, bunkers, several doglegs, stone walls as additional obstacles as well as water hazards at holes 1, 5 and 7. At the latter, golfers must play across water. The short layout of the Oak Hill Golf Course is easy to play for golf beginners and challenges experienced golfers to an athletic short game. At the on-site Pro Shop, golfers can purchase necessary golf items such as hats, tees and golf balls, which can even be personalized. The course does not offer a driving range, but it has a practice area with a putting green. Clubs, trolleys and electric carts can also be rented for a pleasant round of golf.
