RBA Golf Club

The Royal Brunei Airline Golf Club is probably the first golf course to greet visitors to Brunei, as it is located in immediate proximity to the runways of Brunei International Airport. The gorgeous public, 18-hole course was designed by Graham Max Wexler and opened its doors in 1995. The capital of Bandar Seri Begawan is only ten minutes away. The RBA Golf Club course is flat, measuring 6,380 meters. The course is structured by various artificial lakes, which also give it its character. The do not only offer a golfing challenge, but they’re also real eyecatchers. Well-positioned sand bunkers, as well as water hazards, punish imprecise shots. Various fairways are lined by coconut trees and other palm trees. The backnine in particular still sport lush, original tropical vegetation. The well-manicured fairways and roughs are covered with Tifdwarf 419, the greens with Tifdwarf grass. The RBA Golf Club offers its guests a large driving range with 30 teeing grounds, which are also opened by night thanks to the floodlight installation. It also features putting and chipping greens. There are only buggies available on-site, and guests are always welcome here. A handicap of 24 (males) and 36 (females) is required by the RBA Golf Club. The golf club features a handsome clubhouse with a restaurant and a pro shop.
