River Bend Golf Club

The River Bend Golf Club is located in the city of Ormond Beach, Volusia County, Florida. It stretches across a 75-hectare large forested terrain along the Tomoka River. From downtown Ormond Beach, visitors can reach River Bend Golf Club in just eight minutes. The neighboring cities of Daytona Beach and Port Orange on the Atlantic are only 20 and 30 minutes away and are well-connected. In 1999, the River Bend Golf Club opened an 18-hole course, type links with par 72, designed by the well-known golf course architect Lloyd Clifton. The 6,237-meter long course boasts long, narrow fairways and dog legs, flanked by oak trees, pine trees, cedar trees, and majestic magnolias. There are numerous sand bunkers and water hazards, though wetlands are not very prevalent. A large pond is located at hole 17, though it only indirectly affects the game. Four different tee boxes at each hole allow players to adjust the level of difficulty. Both beginners and experienced golfers can play the athletic championship course according to their level. The River Bend Golf Club also offers golfers a training area with a driving with a total of 75 range tees, a putting green, and a practice bunker.
