Wildwood Lakes Golfplatz

The Wildwood Lakes Golf Course can be found in the little town of Wolverine, which is part of Cheboygan County in the US state of Michigan. It spreads along a forest-rich lake landscape near Lake Lance, between the Gaylord State Forest Area and the Pidgeon River County State Forest Area. From Woverine’s center, one can reach the Wildwood Lakes Golf Course in eight minutes, and from the next largest city of Gaylord, it can be reached in 25 minutes via the Interstate 75 N. The golf course is a 9-hole course with par 35 and was opened in 1990. It is 2,180 meters long and features a layout with short fairways, several doglegs, but few bunkers and water hazards. Only at holes 4 to 7 can little ponds be found which golfers need to play across to reach the green. The fairways at Wildwood Lakes Golf Course have two different options for teeing off to cater to various levels of difficulty. The course is considered athletic and thereby easy to play for both inexperienced as well as advanced golfers, who can practice their short game here. There is no driving range at the Wildwood Lakes Golf Course, but there is a practice area with a chipping and putting area. Golf clubs and electric carts can be rented on the course.
