Yasmine Valley Golf Club

Yasmine Valley Golf Club is situated near the northern Tunisian coastal city of Hammamet on the Gulf Hammamet. It lies in a hilly landscape by the main road from Tunis to Sousse, surrounded by pines and olive groves. Yasmine Valley Golf Club is quick to reach via Avenue du Roi Faycal Ibn Abdelaziz in 15 minutes from Hammamet’s center. The club was established in 1991 and features an 18-hole parkland course with par 71 and a length of 5,850 meters. The design stems from the American golf course architect Ronald Fream from GolfPlan. It consists of two returning 9-hole loops that run uphill and downhill through the wavy terrain of the course at Yasmine Valley Golf Club. The layout is determined by narrow fairways, large, terraced greens, spectacular bunkers, doglegs, and double doglegs, as well as several water hazards that make themselves known at holes 1, 8, and 9. Since 2011, the reconstruction of the championship course has been in planning by the architecture firm Nicklaus Design. Furthermore, another 18-hole course with par 72 and a length of 6,600 meters is also being planned which will use some of the holes of the existing golf course at Yasmine Valley Golf Club. Additionally, the club’s grounds provide a 9-hole executive course with fairways measuring between 75 and 155 meters.
